BUSK

Like many of his generation, Busk was part of the hip hop movement in the early eighties & was introduced to graffiti culture in 1985. He's been painting ever since.

Active on the Essex and London scenes during the mid to late eighties, Busk founded the crew Third Decade, and now represents the UK for the Europe wide collective Xcrew

After a couple of spells at her majesty's pleasure, punctuated by fines and hundreds of hours community service, Busk has moved on from painting trains to less costly forms of self expression, and now works from a studio in East London.

Busk is known worldwide as one of the most technically proficient craftsman with a spraycan, and currently has his work on permanent display at the prestigious 'Ivy Club', above the restaurant in Covent Garden, alongside the likes of Andy Warhol, Damien Hurst, Gerald Laing to name but a few.

His work appears in contexts as various as music videos, clubs, interiors and backdrops.

After 24 years of painting, Busk's passion for graffiti is as strong as ever, and he continues to paint regularly at jams and halls of fame around the UK and Europe.
